Vision

Vision, i.e. pictures, comes in many forms, including broadcast, CCTV and presentation AV, but common to all are the requirements of capture, storage and delivery.
Equipping a venue for broadcast means considering the needs of broadcasters and their caravans of trucks: what space do they need, what infrastructure do they need, where do the cameras normally go? Can the crew get from base to their operating location quickly and easily without too much interaction with the public?
Getting the pictures around the venue is a matter of signal distribution. Modern techniques like IPTV are highly flexible, but there is a threshold point below which they do not represent value for money. SJA can assess which delivery method is right for both your current and future needs.
CCTV, so ubiquitous now, is a total necessity for the control of large crowds and a base requirement for security of property. Again, SJA can establish which technology is right now, and whether this may change in the future.
Today’s Audio Visual (AV) technology is video-based and tightly converged with computer technology. Again, the display medium as well as the control of the environment (lighting, sound, air) is part and parcel of SJA’s expertise.
Engineering design is not just about hardware, it is about the use of the hardware. SJA design infrastructure systems to ensure that the show goes on, and advise on space requirements to the non-technical disciplines.
