Technical Personnel
In modern, multi-purpose venues, a highly skilled and experienced technical operations team is almost always a critical element of commercial success.

Touring productions and even sporting events are getting more and more demanding in terms of creating something new and improving the experience for the audience. This means that the systems installed in the venues are more sophisticated and flexible than ever, thus requiring a specialist technical team to configure and operate the systems.

At the beginning of the process comes the production meetings where the technical managers from the production team and the venue explore and agree what is to be done. This includes such areas as interfacing with a production’s sound and video systems, providing IT and broadcast links and the basic practicalities of loading in and de-rigging a show. For the venue, these staff may not be required on a continuous or salaried basis. SJA can provide the venue with that expertise on an on-demand basis, and at all levels from strategic technical management to event day operators.
